Data Compution
All calculations of peer group averages happen within a secure Google Confidential VM. This is an isolated, hardened, and highly constrained environment designed to host security-critical applications. This protected environment is offered and controlled by Google, it acts like a digital vault, keeping data isolated from any internal of external access
Data Encryption
All users can automatically generate their own unique encryption keys from either AWS Key Management Service or Google Encryption Key Management Service, depending on preference. These keys are used to locally encrypt your data before each submission and are never shared directly with Peerformance, keeping your data private and secure at all times
Data Auditing
For peace of mind and complying with any risk control or auditing requirements, all users can access Google Confidential VM log files to track the life cycle of their data, use of encryption keys, and any events relating to your account.
Data Quality
All users are signed up to the Peerformance Data Quality Assurance Policy. This policy requires all data submissions to be honest and accurate. Users agree that each data submission is subject to a random spot check where it will be decrypted in a secure environment and checked against where the data is stored internally. Whilst infrequent and unlikely, the check acts as a deterrant, with failed checks or non compliance resulting in permanant removal from all studies
